Prefabricated reinforced concrete and steel construction design.
Västerås is a 12 storey hotel with office premises, restaurant and public premises that is located next to a train station. Since the train traffic causes the building to vibrate, a vibration analysis was conducted. It was concluded that in order to reduce vibration, the size of the beams in the building’s upper floors would have to be increased.
